The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) was Canada’s first PNP. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) offers several advantages to individuals who are looking to immigrate to Canada and settle in Manitoba.

Benefits of Manitoba Program

  • To apply under this program, an applicant must need to show the connection to Manitoba like family member or friends in Manitoba, previous education or work experience in Manitoba.

  • At least 1 year of work experience is required.

  • According to the Canadian National Occupational Classification (NOC), skilled work experience means work experience gained in TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 job categories. Your work experience can be in 1 or more of these categories.

  • Age - 21 to 45

  • IELTS CLB 4 is the minimum requirement

  • Education – Diploma/ Bachelors / Masters/ PHD

  • Funding requirement - Applicant: approx. $ 13800 and Each Dependent: approx. $ 3700

  • To apply for the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway program, you must demonstrateongoing Manitoba employmentas your established connection to Manitoba.

  • The offer of long-term employment must be from the same employer.

  • If you are able to obtain a temporary work permit from Immigration, after 6 Months of Manitoba Experience, you may apply for PR.

  • Close family, friends or distant relatives can help you in getting PR in Manitoba

  •  IELTS high score will add extra Points.

  •  Person from Manitoba Regional (Out Of Winnipeg) area will add extra bonus points.

  •  The MPNP is closely linked to the Manitoba job market, and applicants who have a genuine offer of employment in the province or the necessary skills and experience to            start their own business may be given priority.

  •  Manitoba is known for its high quality of life, with affordable housing, a strong healthcare system, and a variety of recreational and cultural activities available.

  •  Manitoba has a number of programs and resources in place to help newcomers settle and integrate into their new community, including language classes and employment              support services.

  • Note: If you have an active immigration application with Manitoba, you can not apply to any other immigration program in Canada.
